SWG3 Restaurant

Located at Glasgow's west end, a new restaurant is proposed on the rooftop of SWG3 - an arts and education centre based in a former Customs and Excise bonded warehouse. The new proposal consists of a simple material palette and design to meet the budget and to allow it to be constructed quickly.

Large openings take advantage of the views from the rooftop, framing Glasgow's cityscape for diners to admire. This advantage is taken further as the restaurant activities can spill out on to the rooftop terrace where diners can enjoy the sunset over the Clyde.
